Security & Protection
ATS works with clients in need of personal or family protection for security matters, as well as high-value clients, corporate events, or public event protections Including, but not limited to becoming your security partner, by implementing customized protocols and PTA’s (physical threat assessments), for your residence, office, or corporate locations. If your requirements are as simple as a personal weekend getaway or a simple night out, with family and friends, to a long-term security executive protection detail, ATS can provide any level of security for your needs.
Private Investigations
When it comes to private investigations, simply digging up information and tracking people down doesn’t cut it. A lot more goes into being a respected and sought after investigative detective agency. Over the years we’ve handled cases for law firms, private citizens, and major corporations, acquiring the information and needed evidence. Our investigations in specific and personal cases such as inheritance, probate, and civil law have proven very successful in a court of law. From Workers’ Compensation fraud to bail jumpers and fugitive recovery, divorce cases and even internal corporate theft & fraud investigations, we have proven resources, professional investigators, and state-of-the-art resources our clients need.
Firearms Training
Advanced Tactical Solutions (ATS), is a private firearms, instruction, safety and self-defense training company. We promote the growing interest of firearm safety and self-defense, as well as the need to help the everyday responsible Conceal Carry – CCW citizen, feel comfortable in handling their personal firearms. We strive to train in advanced self-defense tactical pistol and situational awareness. Our ever-growing training complex is always expanding, and we are adding new innovative technology. Our ultimate goal is to promote Knowledge, Skills, Safety and proper Attitude towards firearms.

Threat Assessment
The frequency of workplace violence and active shooter incidents has increased in recent decades, and these incidents have affected numerous places where citizens congregate, such as schools, workplaces, places of worship, shopping malls, public meetings, and movie theaters. Agencies continually evaluate these events in an attempt to generate profiles of active shooters.
These kind of events highlight the need to reduce the risk of active shooter incidents while improving preparedness and strengthening ongoing efforts intended to prevent future occurrences. Advanced Tactical Solutions, LLC (ATS), has global professional experience in these kinds of events. We will tailor on-site training for businesses to ensure your employees and security professionals are better prepared. Our training class, (usually between 4-10 hrs. – depending on participation) reviews best practices and creates a customized plan and right mind-set that begins with proper education and training!

Tom is a former overseas Deputy Chief Foreign Government Homeland Security Counter-Surveillance and Counter-Terrorism executive agent. He worked as a Defense Intelligence & Operational-Security (Op-Sec) civilian combat operator, who routinely interacted with overseas law enforcement, local military, and private military contractor personnel in the global security sector. As Founder and President of Advanced Tactical Solutions LLC, (simply known as “ATS”), Tom acts in a professional capacity as an Executive Security Consultant, a Private Detective Investigator, and a Firearms & Self-Defense Instructor. Additionally, Tom is highly sought as a High-Profile Client Protector & Executive Protection Specialist. Other experiences and duties include Search & Rescue/Recover Technician, High-Threat Mentor and a trained Emergency Medical Responder.
Today, as a highly trained and experienced security executive, he uses his knowledge in the private sector, as a private detective investigator, provides active threat and active shooter seminars, as well as firearms training instruction to all levels of competent individuals and corporate institutions to raise their awareness and skill-levels for better self-defense.

Mike Renner
Instructor / Security Agent
Mike is a veteran Infantry Golf Company 2/2 U.S. Marine who served as a rifle expert and Scout Sniper with STA Platoon, along with many other various capacities in the military with the following experiences; Marine High Rifle Marksmanship Award, Jungle Operations Training Center (JOTC) in Panama, and excelled in the Mountain Warfare School in Korea.
His current civilian related experiences that he brings to ATS: Firearms Training Lead Senior Instructor, Range Safety Officer, Ga. State Board Licensed Armed and Unarmed Security Specialist. Executive Protection Agent. Pistol competition veteran in IPSC, IDPA, USPSA and Pistol Steel Challenges.
Mark Medina
Security Director
Mark is a former Marine Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician and combat veteran of the Persian Gulf War.
Mark is a former member of the International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators (IABTI), Industrial Fire Brigade Commander, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, High Angle Rescue Technician, Haz-Mat Technician, and President of Texas Border Rescue. Currently, Today, Mark is the Director of ATS’s ever-growing Security Division, and himself operates professionally as an Armed Security Officer, Personal Protection Officer, Private Detective, and proud member of the Fellowship of the Hills Church Gatekeepers Security Team. His experience and knowledge brings a tremendous amount of variety to the Advanced Tactical Solutions team.
Dave Morrison
Instructor / Security Agent
Dave is a 26-year retired U.S. Army veteran 1st sergeant from Albany Oregon. With several deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq, and various world theaters of military operations, Dave served on many specialized team assignments. His military positions and experiences included but were not limited to; Infantry Unit Leader, Paratrooper, Infantry Operations Specialist, Anti terrorism Awareness Training Specialist, Close Quarter Battle (CQB) and Commander’s Safety Course instructor.
Currently, Dave uses his experience and knowledge as ATS’s Lead Medical Trauma Instructor, Asst. Firearms Instructor, Range Safety Officer, Ga. State Board Licensed Armed and Unarmed Security Specialist, and Executive Protection Agent.
Greg Engler

Like a lot of you, Greg has always had firearms around as a hobby for most of his life. He started his personal professional journey in security and firearms training as a call, because of his love for God and his family. His personal belief is that to protect people is to love. “Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight”. Greg currently brings the following knowledge & experience to ATS:
